Sky Clean Air Mold and Water Removal Services, LLC.

  • Do you remove mold from a crawlspaces and basements?
Yes, we eliminate mold wherever it may be.

There is always a little mold everywhere – in the air and on many surfaces indoors and outdoors. Certain molds are toxigenic, meaning they can produce toxins. According to the CDC, mold will grow in places with a lot of moisture, such as around leaks in roofs, windows, or pipes, or where there has been flooding. Mold grows well on paper products, cardboard, ceiling tiles, and wood products. Mold can also grow in dust, paints, wallpaper, insulation, drywall, carpet, fabric, and upholstery.
The most common indoor molds are Cladosporium, Penicillium, and Aspergillus. We do not have precise information about how often different molds are found in buildings and homes. In the crawlspaces that have faulty or nonexistent vapor barriers with sitting water, you’re guaranteed to have mold. Need complete encapsulation or a vapor barrier installed? You’ve come to the right place with Sky Clean Air Mold Removal Services.

  • Will mold get behind my walls?
Our technology creates a 7.5 micron sized particle. A mold spore is between 12 and 30 microns. Thus, any place where a mold spore can get in or out of, the fog will penetrate those areas. In special situations where there is a known issue behind a wall, we can drill 1/8 inch access points between the studs and treat the back of the wall directly. If we need to demolish a wall to remove the mold, and to clean the wood and studs behind the wall, you’ll be informed before hand. We also do the build back since we work on renovations, as well.
  • Will I need to clean our home or business after the treatment?
Fortunately, for you there is no need to lift a finger for cleaning. We started our business as Sky Clean Air Services, but now we’re Sky Clean Air Mold & Water Removal Services, LLC. We’ve cleaned everything from apartments, mansions, gutters, and carpets. Our cleaning agents (contains 8% Hydrogen peroxide) leaves no residue, so your home and all items in it will be clean. We also use mold preventative solutions that cannot be bought in stores. Hydrogen peroxide is used as an oxidizer, bleaching agent, and antiseptic, usually as a dilute solution in water for consumer use, and in higher concentrations for industrial use.
  • How long does it last?
If all moisture and water issues are resolved, this is a very permanent solution. With minor water issues like humidity or condensation on windows, we have tested it out about 6 years and have not been able to get mold growth because of the Sky Clean Air antimicrobial protectant. With major water issues, you will only get about 90 days of protection because the mold will return.
  • How will I know if it worked?
Our mold removal services comes with a 10-year warranty and a free follow-up after 30 days of the service. Your Sky Clean Air technician will take a mold air sample upon completing the mold treatment and send it to an independent third-party lab. We use an accredited mold lab that has no affiliation with any mold testing or mold remediation companies. About 4-5 days after the treatment, you will get the results via email. If necessary, we can get the results in 24 to 48 hrs.
  • What will the mold look like after the treatment?
The stains that the mold has created will not automatically go away, but we clean off the stains for you at no additional cost. We cover everything from A to B so that the mold and order won’t return, as long as the moisture issue doesn’t return.
